Solution How to find your iPhone version

1) If your iPhone is already activated, you can find the version in Settings - General - About, along with the modem version.

2) If your iPhone is not activated you must do the following to find it

- On the Activation Screen, slide to the Emergency Screen.

- Type *#307# and hit Call, the phone will start ringing and display 1 Calling.

- Delete all the numbers from the top right of the screen and Call the number 0.

- Press Answer, Hold and then Decline.

- Go to Contacts and create a contact. In the URL field type prefs://1f and save it.

- Click on the contact you created and press the prefs://1f url and you can now go to Settings - General - About to find your iPhone version.
